Thanks to families, friends and community members during a challenging past 2 years. Our first neuroinclusive co-housing community will come online in Spring 2022!
This is just the start of our plan, with 2+ homes being established by the end of 2022.

Our mission is to offer adults with autism or other intellectual developmental disabilities the opportunity to live as independently as possible by providing safe and secure neuro-inclusive cohousing communities with built-in amenities, meaningful employment opportunities, and natural support systems, and to give their parents and aging caregivers peace of mind that they will never have to worry about their children being alone or isolated.
As parents of adult sons with autism, we know the challenges faced by this population. Our short-term goal is to acquire single-family homes for 3 or more individuals with the appropriate level of individualized support. Our long-term goal is to develop co-housing communities capable of caring for dozens of neurodiverse individuals. In this way, we will provide viable lifelong housing options that address the economic constraints and daily living requirements these individuals face when they are on their own.
We are actively confronting the unique and unmet housing needs and challenges higher-functioning autistic adults and other at-risk individuals face when their parents can no longer care for them. The alternative can be heartbreaking. Instead, we provide neuro-inclusive ‘smart-home enabled' cohousing communities for this underserved population, allowing them to not only live as independently as possible, but seek meaningful employment and be an integral and active part of their local community.
Neuro Diverse Living (NDL) is a new and exciting 501c3 nonprofit organization designed to provide adults living with autism or other IDDs with independent housing alternatives based on their support needs. This specialized housing creates an environment where they can thrive and become members of their local community.
